My name is Jeff VanBergen, the face behind Enigma Photography.
Enigma's center of the universe is Newberg, Oregon. This keeps me close to the Oregon Coast, the Cascade Range, the Chehalem Valley wine region, Metro Portland, and all of Oregon's wonders in between.
My interests are character, relationships, stages of life, gatherings and competitive sports.
Character.
I take deep personal satisfaction in drawing the character out of my portrait subjects and into a stilled moment in time. Sometimes that means capturing a side of you that you may not have seen in yourself.
Relationships.
Single but looking, couples, dating & married, engagements & weddings. Families with everything that's come to mean in this age.
Stages of Life.
Graduations (Preschool through Grad School) and other rites of passage like Proms, Formals, and Senior Portraits. Anniversary portraits. Online dating portraits.
Gatherings ... that's a broad term.
Club and charity events. Bachelor / bachelorette parties. Wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners. Birthday parties for young and old. Sports action and team photos. Corporate events and awards banquets.
